Do you think students should wear uniforms to school?
In my opinion, students should wear uniforms to school. First, uniforms help students focus on learning instead of fashion. For example, when everyone wears the same clothes, students don’t need to worry about what to wear every day. Second, uniforms create a sense of equality. This is because rich and poor students look the same, so there is less discrimination. In conclusion, I believe school uniforms have many benefits for students.

Should governments invest more in public transportation or private car infrastructure?
This is a complex issue. While some people believe private cars offer more convenience, I would argue that governments should prioritize public transportation.
To begin with, public transportation is more environmentally friendly. Research has shown that buses and trains produce significantly less carbon emissions per passenger than private cars. This suggests that investing in public transit is crucial for combating climate change.
Furthermore, public transportation reduces traffic congestion. For instance, in cities like Tokyo and Singapore, efficient metro systems have dramatically decreased road traffic. As a result, commuters save time and cities become more livable.
Admittedly, private cars do offer door-to-door convenience. However, this benefit is outweighed by the environmental and social costs of car-dependent cities.
In conclusion, despite some drawbacks, I believe governments should invest more in public transportation because it benefits both the environment and society as a whole.

To what extent should artificial intelligence be regulated by governments?
The question of AI regulation raises fundamental questions about the balance between innovation and public safety. I would argue that governments should implement targeted regulation, though this position requires careful qualification.
First, consider the potential risks of unregulated AI. The evidence for this is mounting — from algorithmic bias in hiring systems to the spread of AI-generated misinformation. However, critics might object that heavy-handed regulation could stifle innovation. This objection has merit, but it assumes a false dichotomy between regulation and innovation. Well-designed regulation can actually foster innovation by establishing clear rules and building public trust.
Moreover, certain AI applications pose existential risks that markets alone cannot address. This is particularly evident in autonomous weapons systems and large-scale surveillance technologies. The broader implication is that some AI capabilities require international coordination, similar to nuclear non-proliferation treaties.
Finally, regulation should be adaptive and sector-specific. While medical AI requires rigorous safety testing, creative AI tools might need lighter-touch oversight. The key is to avoid one-size-fits-all approaches.
In conclusion, governments should regulate AI, though I acknowledge that the optimal level and form of regulation will vary by context. The key is to balance innovation with accountability, ensuring that AI development serves the public interest.
- ✅ 用簡單的字解釋:例如 “entrepreneur” 不會唸 → “a person who starts a business”
Well, let me think… / That’s an interesting question… / How should I put it…”
I mean… I mean…”(會扣分)
|---|---|---|
First, … / To begin with, … | To begin with, … / First and foremost, … |
Second, … / Also, … | Furthermore, … / Moreover, … / In addition, … |
For example, … | For instance, … / To illustrate this point, … |
But … / However, … | However, … / On the other hand, … / Conversely, … |
I know that … but … | Admittedly, … / While it’s true that … / Granted, … |
Because … / So … | This is because … / As a result, … / Consequently, … |
In conclusion, … | In conclusion, … / To sum up, … / All things considered, … |
